So sorry that a few weeks ago I had promised to show you the measurements & instructions for this box and I completely forgot!! I got an email reminding me of that today, and had a little bit of time, so I thought I'd throw together a quick tutorial. Keep in mind that the template is just the one I made up while I was making it, so it's pretty sloppy.
The box fits two Ghirardelli chocolate squares, and it's actually very easy once you know what you're doing, so here goes! First, the template. You can click on it to make it bigger and see the measurements 🙂
** Cut on solid lines, score on dotted lines. All of the gray portion will be gone when you're done cutting**
Next, here's how you put it together. First, fold it on the score lines to get it going in the right direction and make it easier to assemble. Put a piece of sticky strip on the end as shown.
Now, fold over the end that has sticky strip on it, and adhere it right up to the 3-3/4" score line like this:
Snip an angle off of the bottom corners of the flap. This flap will be tucked up inside the box. You'll probably want to put a little snail on the side of the flap that will be touching the inside of the box to keep it in place. Here is the back of your box when you're done:
