Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge

Happy Monday stampers! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, we sure did! My Nicholas (aka Nick-Nack to me:) turned 11 on Saturday! Jeff and I bought him a new skimboard and a kite for his birthday, so we took him & Ben out to lunch and then headed to the beach for the afternoon…it was the most beautiful day! Nicholas loved using both of his presents…although mom was a bit afraid of him decking someone with the kite, you know when they got wild just before nose-diving into the ground? Yup, I was waiting for someone to be walking underneath at the exact moment it crashed, but luckily that didn't happen…I think we'll do a little after dinner kite flying next time and avoid the more crowded beach times! Yesterday we had Nick's family birthday party, which was also a good time, it wasn't too hot, which was nice…we don't often has a nice outdoor party day for his August birthday!!

Anyway, back to stamping! Every time I don't stamp for a day or two I get in a funk, and need to get my stamping rhythm going again, and today was no exception. I looked to the Sweet Sunday sketch challenge for some inspiration, and I looked some more, and kept looking, until finally a card popped into my head to make. Geesh, I'm so glad something finally came together for me!

I used the Crazy for Cupcakes set, stamped in Black StazOn on watercolor paper. Then I watercolored using Peach Parfait, Pumpkin Pie, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo & Soft Suede. I added some Pretty in Pink satin ribbon, and a cute little button to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by!
