I wanted to share these cute Halloween treats with you that I made for the girls that came to my downline meeting last night. The new Sweet Centers set that will be available Sept. 1 is just too cool! The little cups that we use to fill out the centers are such a great deal at only $2.95 for 12 cups, it will be very affordable to make treats for lots of different occasions with this set!
I wanted to punch out the center so that the m&m's would show through, but I loved the "EEK, you're sweet" sentiment too, so I punched out the center with my 1-3/4" punch, then punched a hole in the top and bottom of the EEK piece so I could attach it to the lollipop stick.
Note: you can buy bags of all one color m&m's at some of the local craft stores in the wedding section, so I bought a bag of black m&m's and mixed in the orange and green ones from a regular bag…the single color bags are quite expensive, so this is a good way to make them go a little further.
The colors I used for my "pops" were Lavender Lace, Green Galore and Only Orange, along with Basic Black.
Here's another tip, the back of the cups have very sticky adhesive on them, so you may want to cut a circle slightly larger (but not big enough to cover all of the adhesive or you won't have anything to stick your cup on with) than the opening of the cup and adhere it over the back of the cup before you try to adhere the cup to your CS…it can be tricky to line it up and keep the m&m's in otherwise!
Thanks for stopping by!
