Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #163

It's my favorite time of the week again, Friday night and a new sketch challenge at Stamping 411! I don't know what came over me this week…the heat & humidity of August is on (it's been this way through all of July too), and here I am making a card filled with snowflakes?!?! Maybe it's my way of infusing something cool 😉

Anyway, here's the sketch:

And here's my card:

I used some non-traditional colors, like Soft Suede, Early Espresso & Crumb Cake for the snowflakes, along with Very Vanilla & Soft Suede card stock. It doesn't show well in the picture, but I used a Texturz Plate with the Big Shot for a swirly background on the Very Vanilla base layer. I also used Very Vanilla satin ribbon, Vanilla Styled Hodgepodge Hardware, and Neutrals brads (love that SU! revamped the brads this catalog!!). The sentiment is from the Fabulous Phrases set.

I hope you'll play along this week, or at least take out a little time to view all of the gorgeous creations by the participants & operators!! I always find so much inspiration at Stamping 411!
