Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge

It's time for another fabulous sketch from Stamping 411, and what I like more than the sketches are the samples everyone comes up with! I hope you'll check out what the other operators have come up with, and even play along yourself 🙂

Here's this week's sketch:

Here's my card:

I took a bit of liberty with this sketch, which is of course okay for you to do too! These sketches are a launching point for your creativity! So, I created my circle out of flowers…I just loooove these new paper flowers from Stampin' Up! that you can dye in so many ways! The largest flower is not dyed, but then I mixed a bit of water and Bashful Blue reinker on a paper plate and dipped my medium flowers, then added more reinker to darken the liquid up, and dipped my smallest flowers, but some of the smallest flowers I didn't dye at all. Once they were dry (I helped them along a bit with my heat tool…I'm so impatient!), I added some self-adhesive half-back pearls.

I used the Presto Patterns specialty dsp for the background, and brayered it with Bashful Blue ink. The sentiment is Congratulations, and it's from the Wedding Sweet set…I forgot I even had this set and just found it again, so I'm definitely going to be using it again soon, it's like when you clean your child's room, put lots of extra toys in the attic, and when you pull them out again they're new all over, yippee!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
