Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge #145

It's time for another great sketch over at the Stamping 411 blog! What a fabulous selection of entries we had last week!! I hope to see even more of you playing this week 🙂

Here's the sketch:

And here's my card:

I wanted to use the Awash with Flowers set, because I've had it for a couple of weeks and hadn't broken it in yet! This is a sneak-peek set from the next big catalog!! It's actually a two-step stamping set, but I opted to color the flowers myself on this card instead of using the stamps to fill them in. The sentiment is from the Well Scripted set, boy I hope this set makes into the next catalog!! It's the perfect font for any occasion!

The colors I used are Barely Banana, Real Red, Basic Black, along with Old Olive Satin Ribbon and the image is stamped on Shimmery White CS. I used the Polka Dots texture folder, and paper-pierced in the corners a bit. The embellishments came from the Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware kit.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I'm looking forward to seeing your beautiful creations this week!

  1. What an excellent take on this sketch! I love that you used some of the images in this set that I’ve been neglecting. You rocked this out.. I love the extra hardware! Stunning job girlie!

  2. WOW!!! Funny, When I saw this set of thought of yellow and red. Now you’ve created it in just those colors. It’s gorgeous and beautifully executed. Love it!

  3. I wonder if we will get this set in OZ in September? Love the colour combo. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog to say hi! Have been browsing your posts! So much to bookmark here! Lots of ideas for my upcoming classes! Thanks heaps! hugs Andrea xxx
