Tuesday night I had my monthly Stamper's Club gathering, and sometimes I like to make little treats for them. My husband has been working in Louisiana for the past week and a half helping restore power (he's an outside lineman), so I've had some time on my hands in the evenings after the kids go to bed. Of course I love stamping any chance I get, but I just heard from him today that he's heading home, yippeeeeee! It will take probably 3 days for them to drive here, and hopefully they won't get called back when Ike rears it's ugly head!
I decided to make these little treat holders, I don't know if there are any out there in cyberspace like this, and they're VERY quick and easy, so I thought I'd show you how I made them in case you want to make some too! Of course you can click on any of the pictures to make them bigger, and read the measurements and scoring guidelines I've included.
Pink Pirouette Card Stock
Stamp your words along the 6-1/4" score line.
I stamped my cupcakes using Black StazOn, then colored in my cupcake wrappers with Bashful Blue, and the cherries with Real Red.
Apply 2-way glue pen to the "frosting" and then add Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Adhere to Certainly Celery Card Stock.
Fill one of SU!'s little cello bags (I used the small flat 3×5" ones from page 167 of the catalog)…I filled mine with Hershey's Kisses. Then staple the baggy inside your Pink Pirouette card stock as shown, you want the 1-3/4" portion of the card stock to be above the bag.
Tie your ribbon around the treat holder, I tied mine over the seem of the card stock. Then put dimensionals on the back of your cupcake image and adhere. So simple huh??? I think the girls liked them too, because even though they love chocolate, not one of them opened their treat that night! They all brought them home, hopefully to enjoy later!
