Good Thursday morning! I am having so much fun with the new Shimmer Paints that will be in the Holiday Mini, available NEXT TUESDAY! Wow it's almost time!! Yesterday when I was getting this sketch ready, I put some rubbing alcohol in a mini spray bottle (as I was pouring the rubbing alcohol into the bottle, the memories of getting my ears pierced as a little girl came rushing back…I guess that's about the only reason to like the scent of rubbing alcohol!). Anyway, I put in a couple of drops of the Champagne Shimmer Paint, shook it up, and sprayed each layer of paper I was going to apply to my card. I love the effect! It reminds me of when we used to use PearlEx in hairspray, but a lot less sticky!
Please see the note below, and then join in the sketch challenge!
Unfortunately I will be taking a break from hosting sketch challenges after this week. I'm headed back to work tomorrow, and with the boys in school, sports and all of that craziness, along with LOTS of other stamping projects I'm working on, I'm going to have to put the sketch challenges on the back burner for a while
BUT, here's the good news…as our last hoorah for a while, I thought I'd offer an extra special prize, a brand new set of Stampin' Up! Pastels ($24.95 value)! You can do SO many things with pastels, you'll be sure to get lots of use out of them!
Here are the details:
Anyone can enter, the more the merrier!! For each sample that you create, and you post either on your blog or on Splitcoast and you link back to this post, you will receive one entry into the drawing. ***If
