Sketch Challenge Gable Box

Today I found a great sketch over at Pals Paper Arts, and I decided to give it a whirl, but use the sketch on the front of a gable box instead of the typical card. I'm really happy with how this box came out, and I'm planning to give it to a friend with a bunch of cards inside.

I used Tote-ally Tess, because I haven't picked her up in a long time and I love her little tote bag 🙂 I stamped her bag on dsp (BAB Workshop Pawsitively Prints pack) to match the dsp on the front of the box, stamped Happy Birthday from Teeny Tiny Wishes on it, and cut it out to hang on her arm…oh yeah and I stamped the tiny flower in the set on a scrap of red dsp I had laying around on my stamp table and cut that out to adhere on her tote too.

I colored Tess with my Aquapainter and Tempting Turquoise, Basic Grey, and Soft Suede ink. I added some Real Red Satin Ribbon, and Brights & Neutrals buttons, along with a tag using the Just for you sentiment from the Afterthoughts hostess set.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a fabulous weekend!
