I have been making swatch rings like crazy the last couple of days (see previous post), but today I squeezed in some time to stamp for FUN! I got a bunch of new goodies that will be in the upcoming catalog, which will officially be available for sale on August 11th. Just another terrific reason to be a demonstrator, preorders! Anyway, I ordered all the new In Colors which are Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, and Tangerine Tango…I also got a few new stamp sets including this one called Serene Spring. This set will be a Level 2 hostess set.
I watercolored the flowerpot image, and used the following colors, along with my Aquapainter and Watercolor Paper:
- Kiwi Kiss for the grassy area
- Pink Pirouette for the butterfly
- Baja Breeze for the bird
- Tangerine Tango for the beak
- Barely Banana for the flowers
- Close to Cocoa for the pot
The card stock used is Pink Pirouette, Barely Banana and Baja Breeze, with some wide organdy ribbon in Very Vanilla. I also used the Ticket Corner Punch, and Small Oval Punch. The words “I just heard!” are from the set Absolutely Fabulous.
For the girls in my Stamper’s Club…check out that scallop border at the bottom of the Banana card stock, it’s the new Scallop Border Punch! No more scallop borders made with the corner rounder!
