Paper Roses Sketch Challenge

What a gorgeous weekend we've been having here in Massachusetts!! We got lots of yard work done, and my husband even cut down 3 giant trees in our back yard, which used to keep the yard so shady…the pool wouldn't warm up and the grass was mossy…and luckily he did! After he cut one of them down we realized it was rotted in the middle, and with the wind storms we've had lately we're lucky it hadn't fallen yet!!

Anyway, back to my card…I have been wanting to try these paper roses since I saw THIS gorgeous card made by Gretchen Barron. Gretchen got the instructions from Julie, and I used her instructions as well, which were so easy to follow!!

I used the Stamping411 sketch challenge for the layout. Week after week Selene comes up with something fun for us to use as a jumping off point for our creativity. The samples from the Operators are always awesome too, so you should really play along if you've got the time!

Off to cook some burgers on the grill, enjoy the last couple of hours of the weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
