Paper Players Challenge

Well I haven't played along with the Paper Players in a while, and this week's challenge is wide open, so I thought I'd get stampin'! The challenge is your favorite color combo, either for a specific card or in general. Well my favorite color combo for a night sky is Basic Gray and Night of Navy, so here we go…

I just love these little skaters from the Welcome Christmas set, as I'm sure you can tell because I've been using it all the time! I sponged the sky/snow on Shimmery White paper.

I'm just about ready for club this week, so I'm hoping to get more stamping & posting in, I hope you'll check back!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. wow does this look like a snowy night right after it stops snowing and you are done shoveling and ready for a little fun in the full moon! It looks great Kerin!

  2. I don’t think that I would have named Basic Gray and Night of Navy as a favorite color combo – but it is wonderful! This reminds me of my childhood in South Dakota – back in the days when everything seemed safer and we could play outside until dark and then hurry home by the light of moon!
I got your box! See my blog for pictures and more thank yous!!

  3. This card is really gorgeous! I think the colors and night sky are great! It looks like the kids stayed out too late and are rushing home for some warm soup!!

this is magical. So perfect for this time of year. The color combo works beautifully, especially on the Shimmer White card stock. I love these two stamps together – they really are a marriage made in heaven. I loved the way you positioned the sledders going off the right hand corner.
So pleased you joined the Paper Players this week and shared this fabulous card.

  5. Kerin, this is just stunning! Such a pretty winter scene and I just love how you used both of the stamp sets to create a such a gorgeous winter evening with the colors. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week! 🙂
