Ornament Punch Holiday Card

For today's card I used the Ornament Punch from the Holiday Mini to make my own ornament stencils. I've been wishing I had the stencils in the Decor Elements brochure for a while now, and I finally ordered them but they haven't arrived yet, so I improvised and used the punch instead. I punched my ornament shape out of a scrap piece of paper, then held it onto the card stock where I wanted it and applied ink with a sponge. I used the punched shape to cover each one when I moved the "stencil" to the next spot so that I wouldn't overlap the ink.

I also added Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint over each of the ornaments, along with Platinum Shimmer Paint for the center embellishments. The colors of the ornaments are Real Red, Not Quite Navy and Certainly Celery. The CS is Always Artichoke, Real Red and Whisper White.

Thanks for stopping by!
