Today I thought I'd give the Mojo Monday sketch a shot, and I'm loving this daffodil stamp from the new Abundant Hope stamp set…it can be so soft and pretty and let me tell you, we're longing for some Spring here in the Northeast and it's still quite a ways off! So, I'll just have to resort to thinking about flowers and warmer weather as I watercolor!
I used Shimmery White card stock for this card. Normally I would use Watercolor Paper, but Watercolor Paper is more "vanilla-y" than I'd like sometimes. The Shimmery White can be a good choice if you're watercoloring too, especially if you don't go too heavy on the water.
The dsp is from the Shades of Spring pack in the Occasions Mini. I also used Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon, the Scallop Trim Border Punch (Sale-a-Bration reward item), Wide Oval Punch, and the 1/2" Circle Punch (to punch the corners of the main image. I got the little gems by bending open the prongs of my Rhinestone brads and pulling out the centers, then just applying them with mini glue dots.
Thanks for stopping by!
