I just love this adorable little nugget purse! Can you believe this is made out of one of SU’s build-a-brad tins??? I was so excited when I saw a purse like this HERE, that I HAD to make one of my very own!! I used our new Berry Bliss paper, along with chocolate taffeta ribbon, which of course I tied to the tin by punching holes right in the metal with my Crop-a-dile (love that thing!). I used another new product, called Eastern Elegance Rub-ons for the design on the cover. I have 6 nuggets inside this tin, although you could fit 12…the problem I found with putting in 12 is that the cover doesn’t stay shut very well, so you’d need to secure it with something like glue dots…also, I decorated the tin with the cover completely on, so when the cover was halfway off you could see the metal that should be not be showing if the cover was all the way on. Boy that sounded like it made sense in my head, but I have no idea if anyone will get it but me! By the way, thanks Donna for the build-a-brads! Don’t you hate when you see something you want to make NOW and you need to wait for an order to come in? I was thrilled to find out Donna had a package I could use instantly! I’ve been wanting to use the build-a-brads for a while now, since I saw a really cool idea for them at convention last summer actually…now I have them in hand and ready to use! Once I finish the 135 save-the-dates and 100 direction/hotel info cards I’m doing for a wedding I’ll get right on that!
