Gift Card Wallet

Yesterday was the year-end party for Nick's baseball team. We had a perfect day in regards to weather, company, and food 🙂 The kids had a blast, as they always do together…it's like a big family…and of course being the baseball players they are, they started up a fierce game of wiffle ball for the afternoon 😉

The parents all like to chip in and get the coach a gift for all of the work he does with our boys throughout the season. The amount of time he puts in is unbelievable, and all on his own time! This year we got him several different gift cards, so I wanted to make a holder for them all, plus have a spot for all of the families to write their appreciation too.

I thought the stamp set was perfect, I used FYI, and the sentiment on the inside was "you are awesome." The belly band is made from Elegant Soiree dsp, 1 1/2 x 7 1/4".

I used Early Espresso card stock for the "wallet" and it measured 4 3/4 x 8 1/2", and was scored at 3 1/4 and 6 1/2"…I round the edges of the front end.

Here's the inside, there is room for 3 gift cards, made by sealing Very Vanilla envelopes shut, then cutting them down to 2 3/8" and adhering them together.  On the bottom, I attached a piece of Very Vanilla card stock that I cut 4 x 10" and scored every 2 1/2" to make it fold up accordion style.

Today is our last day of summer!! Tomorrow the boys will head back to school, and I will go back to work 🙁 Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!! Thanks for stopping by!
