Elements of Style

Last night we had no baseball game, so after dinner Jeff took the boys to the field by our house to practice batting..I went with them for a bit, but ooh it was so cold out!! So, I came home, made myself a cup of Cinnamon Roll flavored coffee, got on my jammies, turned up the heat and started stamping…heaven!!

I wanted to give that vintage look a try, you know the style that so many demonstrators are so good at? Yeah, me…not so much!! I am kind of happy with the way it came out, much better than it seemed to be going lol!! What I learned about Smooch Spritz on this card, a little goes a long way, and once it's sprayed there's no taking it back haha!!

Here's what I used to make this card:

Stamps: Elements of Style

Ink: Rose Red, Mellow Moss, Pretty in Pink, Soft Suede

Paper: Kraft, Shimmery White, Soft Suede

Accessories: Cutter Kit (distressing tool), 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Kraft Taffeta Ribbon, Smooch Spritz (Log Cabin), Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Stamping Sponges

Thanks for stopping by, hope you'll get to stamp something today!

  1. Oh, I think you are pretty good at what ever style you try out – this card is gorgeous! And hey, if you don’t like it all that much, I know a certain demo friend who has a special place in her studio that this would look great in! heehee!
Have a great week my friend!

  2. You did the vintage look VERY well! Havent tried my smooch spray yet, so I will be stingy with it LOL. I love the long streamers on your bow!
