Happy Saturday stampers! What’s better than a Saturday morning with the house to yourself, country music playing and a stash of stamps and markers?! Nothing in my book!! I woke up bright and early this morning anxious to play with my Crafter’s Companion supplies and here’s what I’ve come up with. I just love love this set called Poppies and Daisies from the Sheena A Little Bit Sketchy collection, and let me tell you, I just used 3 Spectrum Noir markers for these flowers HB1, HB2, HB3 and they blend together perfectly! For the stems I used DG2 AND DG3.
For the fancy base layer I used the Die’sire Elegance Stamping Frame die. TIP: No need to waste another sheet of your precious designer paper for the layer under your sentiment, simply cut it out of the larger piece from the part that nobody will see! I traced my smaller elegance stamping frame onto the back of the larger elegance stamping frame, then cut it out with an exacto knife. The designer paper is from the Sara Davies’ Signature Collection Festive Wonder Range 6×6″ paper pad…yes this is a Christmas pad but there are a few designs that can be used for everyday cards too!
Okay, what’s next on the agenda. It should be housework, but it probably will be stamping and coloring 😉
