Color Challenge

I made today's card using inspiration from the Paper Players color challenge, and I went back to the sketch from Stamping 411 again…loved this one! I figured the best way for me to incorporate the colors would be by using a butterfly, since I can make it any color combo I want! My butterfly was colored with Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake & Early Espresso.

I used some paper daisies and added color to them with Sponge Daubers and Early Espresso & Cherry Cobbler ink. Then I brushed them lightly with my Aquapainter to blend the color and make it softer and less sponged looking. I added some half-back pearls, the Elegant Lines embossing folder, some Very Vanilla satin ribbon, and done!

I hope you have a great day, find some inspiration and stamp something today k?

  1. Kerin, fabulous use of the Elegant Lines embossing folder and your butterfly is beautiful. I love the way your ribbon element echoes the elements on the card.
