Sunday afternoon and hubby is watching the Patriots game, what better place for me to be than in my stamp room? I've got my favorite country music station on, a nice glass of wine, and lots of stamps to keep me occupied 🙂
My first stop for inspiration is of course the Flourishes blog to see what's new & exciting. I'm not really ready for Christmas yet, but this Christmas with a Twist challenge got me going. Make a Christmas card without using red or green? Fun!
While organizing my stash of designer paper today, I came across a new pad called Winter Frost from Stampin' Up!. It has all aqua/white/gray patterns. This made a perfect launching point for my card. My first thought for a stamp to use was the Flourishes Seasonal Wreaths set. I've had this set since last year but had yet to use the stamp that looked like those glass ornament wreaths you see around. I actually made one of those wreaths last year and loved it on my front door, until a windy day when it got whisked off my door and smashed all over my front steps! Luckily most of the glass shards are behind the bushes and won't hurt anyone, but what a mess that was!!
Here are the other supplies I used for my card:
Copics: BG10, BG11, BG13, RV0000, RV02, RV06, B000, B02, B05, V01, V04, V06
