I colored my bunny with Copics in N0, N2, N3, then N4, N6, N9 for the nose, and finally RV10, RV11, RV13. I did a little highlight around him I'm not sure you can see in the picture, but I used RV0000, RV000.
Hi friends 🙂 Today I'm playing along with The Challenge, and I chose to use both the sketch and the colors provided for my card:
This color combo lends itself well to a Halloween card, but I've been dying to get this little guy inky and he fit the sketch perfectly so I colored him to match. The set is called Great Catch from Sugar Pea Designs. This was my first attempt at coloring something with fur, but luckily there are some samples to check out on the Sugar Pea Designs site.
Wow, I finally got back in my stamp room this morning and it felt great! April is here and you know what that means in my house…baseball time! Our son Nick (14) is playing on his high school team, as well as his AAU team, which means baseball every day and all weekend! This is a rare weekend that we don't have baseball until 12:30, so I snuck away for a bit this morning to do some coloring…aaaaahhhhh:)
When I walked in this room I was reminded of the fact that last Sunday I spent the entire day in my stamp room. I completed 9 projects for my design team requirements and failed to clean up after myself. Oh my I should have spent my time this morning cleaning but that's no fun! Maybe tomorrow 😉
I used a circle instead of a square on my center panel, but this guy just called for a circle in my mind. I think I'll use this card for one of my nephew's birthdays 🙂 Here are the supplies I used for my card:
Today I'm playing along with this week's Fusion challenge. I went with the sketch portion of the challenge, and a little bit of the inspiration photo too 🙂 I can't wait until we see butterflies out & about! It's a very exciting day around here in my little corner of the world, it's almost 50 degrees and the heaps of snow are melting! I can hear birds chirping from my craft room, oh what a glorious sound that is!! I hear we're in for another cold snap this week, but we will take it while it lasts 🙂
Well we're in for another storm tomorrow here in the Northeast. My goodness, this winter it seems like one storm after another! We usually get less snow and more rain here because I'm near the coast, but not this year! I can't believe I'm actually wishing for rain tomorrow because I want all of this snow to wash away! It's gorgeous when it first falls, don't get me wrong, but weeks later it's dirty and yucky looking and time for it to go!
For today's card I'm playing along with the ColourQ challenge, and oh my gosh I can't believe I made a card with almost no stamping and no coloring! I've been working on design team creations all night, and I am about colored out for today. Wow, never thought I'd say that ;)
I'm impatiently waiting for my hubby to get home from Maryland. He's been working there on transmission towers since mid-November. He should be here around 1 am so I guess I've got some more stamping time ahead of me :)
I used Kraft, Blushing Bride, Rose Red, Pink Pirouette & White since I don't have any Primrose Petals.
I used the Polka Dot Cover Up Die-Namics Die from My Favorite Things with white card stock, then I adhered my colored paper behind it. The heart punches, silver cord, bling, and mini clip came from SU! Oh and the sentiment is SU! as well, from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set.
Tonight I came across a new to me sketch challenge, called Retro Sketch. I loved the Design Team samples and knew I wanted to play along, but do you have any idea how difficult it is for me to create a card with that few layers?!?! Oh my gosh, talk about challenging! This may be the most difficult simple card I've ever made lol. Here's the sketch:
Anyway, here are the supplies I used, don't worry I still managed to use quite a few Copics on this simple card ha!
