Good evening stampers! I'm back for the 2nd day in a row, and hopefully now that my family has beaten last week's sickness this will be more the norm. Anyway, the other day I made this bookmark similar to one shown to us at convention. That bookmark they showed us was the single reason why I HAD to have those Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Frames!
I think this size would be good for a smaller book (the ribbon is about 18" long), so if I were to make one for my catalog again I would make the ribbon long enough for the butterfly image to be further down near the center of the front of the book.
For my version I used:
- Dreams du Jour stamp set
- Blender pen with Baja Breeze classic ink to color in the butterfly
- 1-3/8" Circle Punch
- Very Vanilla Card Stock
- So Saffron Poly Twill Ribbon (if you have not gotten your hands on this ribbon yet, it's a MUST…such a beautiful, smooth ribbon)
- Designer Buttons
- Black StazOn Ink
- Linen Thread
