All a Flutter

Today's card is for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, and it's got me wondering…can you ever have too much Smooch Spritz?!?!? I am loving this stuff, and I want to spray everything in sight with it!!

Pretty much everything I used for this card is a sneak peek of the new Summer Mini, which will be available May 1st! The background paper is called Presto Patterns Designer Series Paper, and it is SO cool! It's all white, and when you add color with either Smooch Spritz, a brayer, an Aquapainter, or sponges, there is an embossed pattern that resists the ink! On this sample I've used the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz, then added some Gold Glow on top of that and rubbed it in with a tissue. On the next layer I used the Gold Glow all by itself, then on the next layer, the sentiment and the butterflies I used the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz. See, told you I was hooked on this stuff!!

The sentiment comes from another new set, called Pedaling Past. And how about that butterfly? I LOVE butterflies, so I had to pick up this one, called All a Flutter.

By the way, if you want to see LOTS of ideas for everything from the Summer Mini, you should join us at Create with Connie & Mary! I've made a few projects already that I'm so excited about, and wait until you see what the other designers have come up with!! Early Bird pricing ends April 25th!

Thanks for stopping by!
