300,000 Hits Blog Candy

Thanks so much for understanding about my basement flooding drama that has taken me away from stamping for a couple of days…and also thanks to all of you that emailed me wishing me good luck in my efforts!! Well we got the water down so well yesterday that the pump would no longer suck it up, we could only use the shop vac…and we thought that was a great thing! We hoped that since the water had seeped through, it could seep back into the ground over night and it would be even better this morning (yes, we were a bit over-hopeful huh?!?!?)…and we woke up this morning to the water back up to the level it was before I spent all day yesterday working on it πŸ™ How on earth will we get this water to STAY out of the basement??? Alas, another date with the pump & shop vac for me after work today…

Anyway, enough BAD news, how about some GOOD news???? I didn't realize that I had gone past 300,000 hits on my blog some time in the last couple of weeks…but what an exciting milestone it is!! Now that I know, I want to celebrate with some blog candy for those of you that stop by my blog for a visit.

I came up with this little package of goodies, that includes an assorted pack of Soft Subtles card stock, a Designer Paper sampler ring, a mini Thank You note kit, and over 160 sheets of assorted 6×6" designer paper (retired and current)…oh yeah, plus you deserve some chocolate so I'm including one of the sunflower treat boxes I made for my stamper's club girls this month πŸ™‚

So how do you get a chance to win these goodies? Just leave a comment here, no hoops to jump through, BUT if you link back to me on your blog, you can leave another comment telling me that you did so and you'll be entered twice!! I'll draw a winner using random.org one week from today, on April 1st!

As always, thanks for stopping by! May your day be dry and your basement water-free πŸ˜‰

On the water front…I feel your pain! We have had so much water in our basement, I started to feel like we owned an inground pool! They do make a paint on concrete sealer that will adhere even if the concrete is wet. You can get it at about any home improvement store. It really works and has solved our problem (so far:o))

I can commiserate with you on the flooded basement, ours was so bad it came to the top of the bottom step! DH called the fire company to ask how many inches were needed before they would come out? The answer was 3, we had over 8 inches but they told us we were number 85 in line! LOL We went back to the shop vac and dumped it in the drain! Then we had paper things that needed to be dragged out to dry and throw away, the carpet ripped out … yes, I feel for you! πŸ™
