What a great time we had at my downline meeting last week! We had a couple of glasses of wine, some snacks, some stamping, some gifts…could it get any better? I had a little treat out for each of the girls, these little favors made using the scallop punch and there’s a York Peppermint Patty in the middle.

And I also made this cute little stack of Ghirardelli chocolates for each of them, which I know I saw somewhere, just can’t remember who to give credit to!

We made a few projects too, one of which was this card similar to one I saw HERE on SCS. It uses the Bali Breeze designer paper from the new Spring-Summer SU! catalog…the paper is a little bright for my taste, but I am enjoying playing with it anyway!

We made another card which I can’t share here, because I’m going to be using it for a swap I’m in this month and I know some of the girls would see it on my blog, and I want it to be "new" to them when they get it!!

We also made this picture frame, which you can buy the frames for $1 at a certain craft store that begins with "M" and shall remain nameless…

There’s glitter on the big flower, and on each of the flowers that have the dots all around in the designer paper. I just love that sparkle!

The stamp set is Time Well Spent, the awesome new level 3 hostess set Stampin’ Up! sent every demonstrator last month! Also, you’ll see another new designer paper called "Ginger Blossom" which I absolutely LOVE!

Speaking of Time Well Spent, my upline has been sending us challenges each Monday for a few weeks now, and last week’s challenge was to use our free set from SU to make a card and either tell her about it or email her a picture! Yippee…cards to make! Here’s what I came up with, again using the Bali Breeze paper:

I continued the dotted design of the paper onto my card base with the white gel pen for the butterly’s flight…as you can see in the second picture, the butterfly is cut out and popping off the card and of course it has glitter on it’s wings…you must know by now that glitter is my favorite!! Don’t even ask what would’ve happened if Dazzling Diamonds had shown up on that retiring list!!!! Luckily I have the new catalog in hand and it has NEW glitters to choose from, watch out!
