Today I decided to just pick a stamp set and pick a couple of colors and "make" myself come up with a card for it…I don’t know about you, but I have a few favorite color combos that I go after time and time again and I don’t seem to deviate very often! I picked the set One of a Kind, because other than using it for the words "for you" in my Stamper’s Club class last week, I haven’t used it yet. I picked Barely Banana cardstock off of my shelf, then went to my color coach and checked it out. The suggestion was Barely Banana/Gable Green/Bashful Blue/Not Quite Navy with a coordinating color of Perfect Plum…so I guess I went a little off on my own with Barely Banana/Certainly Celery/Not Quite Navy/Perfect Plum, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I used the new Boho Blossoms punch for my corner flowers, and the biggest of the flowers in the corners are up on dimensionals. I used Celery wide grosgrain ribbon, and a yellow rhinestone brad. I think I’d probably like it better in some other color combos (perhaps my old stand-by combos I use over and over??).
