Timeless Tuesday #245

IMG_0462

For today's card I'm playing along with the Timeless Tuesday Challenge on the Flourishes blog, which is to use the negative space from a die cut. What a great way to use up some scraps from all those shapes that have been cut out. Immediately I thought of the beautiful Star Of Bethlehem set I won in last month's challenge. Nothing fancy for my negative space, just a plain old circle, but I'm so pleased with how this card turned out.

For my layout I used Deconstructed Sketch #126. I love that this sketch prompted me to do something I never would do on my own. I feel like I'm such a "plain jane" when it comes to card layouts, I wouldn't normally tip the main image like that, but I love it!

I'm finding it harder and harder to give you the details of exactly what I used in my cards, because now that I'm buying from so many different stamp companies, I don't know the names of what everything is and where I got it! I colored my image with Copics, stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on XPressIt Blending card stock. That much I know because I do that on every card! I recently bought the awesome blingy snowflakes from SU!.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
