Thank You Challenge

I came across this fun new blog today, called Stamp Something. It’s a weekly challenge blog, and I’m really looking forward to participating every week. What a great way to get those creative juices flowing!!

Anyway, the challenge for this week was to create something that you could use as a little "thank you". I’ve been burning this small Yankee Candle jar every day in anticipation of finishing the candle and using the jar for something stamping related…today was my perfect opportunity!

I filled the jar with m&m’s. Did you know you can even fill the lid of these glass jars? Well you can! I put m&m’s in the lid, then punched a piece of whisper white using my 1-3/8" circle punch, put a small amount of Tombow Mono Multi around the edge, and glued it over the opening in the lid to keep the m&m’s in.

I used the hostess prints pack Pretty in Pink paper for the jar covering, then covered a small chipboard flower in Almost Amethyst designer paper in the same floral pattern. I used Certainly Celery card stock to cover the chipboard tag, and stamped "Thanks for all you do" from the Absolutely Fabulous set on the tag. I also used Pink Taffeta Ribbon and a Rhinestone Brad from the Pretties Kit.

  1. This is a super cute idea! I’ll have to get burning those candles! Love the papers and the flower tag. Thanks so much for joining our challenge. 🙂
