Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge

Sweet-sunday

Happy Columbus Day! Today I wanted to stamp something that went with this weekend…and since it's the perfect weekend for leaf-peeping, here's the card I came up with for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

What a great fall day it's been…I started out by locking myself in my stamp room to prep all of the Christmas cards the girls will be making this week and next, phew, glad to have that done! I also cooked a turkey with gravy, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and mashed potatoes, along with apple crisp for dessert, YUM! The boys were in heaven! They even offered to clean up the dishes because they've been enjoying our Sunday dinners so much lately they don't want me to have any reason to stop making them! Then I came back into my stamp room and made this card…my day is complete and it's only after 4 o'clock! Hmmm…what will I do next? I'm thinking more stamping is in order!

Here's what I used to make this card, and you can see in the close-up that I added a little Champagne Shimmer Paint over the leaves for a little extra something.
