Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge

This has been a great weekend so far, I hope you're all enjoying it too! I feel like I've gotten so much done already…I cleaned my stamp room (yuck, you should have seen it, I was down to about a 4" square of open counter space to work on!), designed all of the cards for club next week, made treats for the girls, plus 2 baseball games of Nick's and homemade spaghetti sauce with meatballs & Italian sausage for dinner tonight!

And, I even had time to stamp this card for Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch challenge! It feels great to actually start feeling like myself again, instead of this crazed woman just trying to get through everything!!

Here's the card:

I decided to go a little over the edge with coloring on this big stamp, I used More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Elegant Eggplant and Not Quite Navy all on one stamp…yikes! I was pretty happy with the result though. I used the Lattice Embossing folder for the background, and sponged on some Soft Suede ink. The ribbon treatment is the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, it's so soft & flexible, love that stuff!!

Well we're headed out for the next baseball game of this gorgeous weekend! I hope you find some time to stamp today too 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
