Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge

It's that time of the week again, time for another fun challenge over at Stamping 411! Can I just tell you how drop-dead gorgeous the entries have been??? Woah, you should really check them out!!

Here's the sketch for this week:

And here's my card:

This is my first time trying out the glass glitter, and it is SO cool! I really love the chunky bits of bling!! For the little splashes of color on the polka-dot background, I used the hearts that resulted from punching the bottom border. I just put a little 2-way glue pen on the dot, and stuck the little heart right on it, then I straightened it out with my paper piercing tool. You can click on the card for a closer look.

I opted to skip the 3 little accents over the image that were in the sketch…you know the sketch is just a starting point right?? Feel free to take the sketch as inspiration and put your own little twist on it!!

The sentiment is from Three Little Words…wow, that's all the stamping on the whole card?? I used Whisper White, Real Red, Rich Razzleberry & Pretty in Pink card stock, along with Pretty in Pink, Real Red & Rich Razzleberry narrow ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping by, can't wait to see what you all come up with this week!!

  1. Kerin — I can’t imagine attaching all those tiny heart pieces — oh my goodness, girl — is your middle name “patience”? WOW — it’s a wonderful look though! Thanks for sharing — blessings, Gretchen

  2. Speaking of DROP DEAD gorgeousness.. You’ve done it again! I think your idea of using those tiny hearts is genius. It adds so much interest to the background. I also love what you did with the glass glitter. Beautiful as always. 😀

  3. Kerin–such a pretty card–love the tinyhearts on the main paper. Also–LOVE the glitter that is just around the heart. Very nice!
Glad I got to play along too–at least for now.
    Hugs, Nola

  4. This is gorgeous!! I can’t imagine attaching all those tiny little hearts, but it really makes this card. Such a great idea!
