Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving yesterday! We sure did…I hosted dinner, and I think for the first time in many years we had the whole family together. It was great to see everyone again, especially since my sister and her daughters moved to Maine this year and we don't get to visit very often!! Boy was my house crowded though…it was one of those holidays that I anticipated, had a great time during, but boy was I relieved when it was over and the food was wonderful, and everything was hot at the same time…kwim?

Anyway, you probably didn't come here to hear about my Thanksgiving…you want to see a sketch don't you??? Here's the Stamping 411 sketch this week:

And here's my card:

You probably can't tell from the picture, so here's a close-up of my "O" with the mini pearls:

I used the dsp from the Christmas Cheer Simply Scrappin' kit, I love this paper!! The JOY is from my new favorite set, Welcome Christmas, stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I also used Very Vanilla and Marina Mist card stock, along with Very Vanilla satin ribbon and a Marina Mist button. Oh if you can't see, there are little pearls all along the punched border under the ribbon too!

I hope you'll enjoy your weekend, and carve out a little time to stamp with us!

  1. A crowded house is a happy house! I am so glad that your entire family was able to get together for the holiday.
I am LOVING this card Kerin! We had similar thoughts on those little pearls!

  2. I’m so glad I came to your blog for a closer look at your beautiful card because now I realise it’s even better than I first thought.
I hadn’t noticed all the pearls and they look absolutely gorgeous! It is a real “wow” card.
