Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #194

YES! Another week has passed and we are that much closer to Spring!! I am anxiously awaiting the changing clocks tomorrow night, I love when it stays light out later in the evening! Another fun part of another weeking flying by, is that there is a new sketch challenge at Stamping 411!

I apologize that I haven't posted since the Stamping 411 sketch last week…things have gotten quite hectic in my personal life, and are about to get downright chaotic with my 2 boys playing on 3 baseball teams beginning in about a week!! I'm usually pretty good at keeping things organized, at least in my head, where we need to be, what time we need to be there, etc…well today I broke down and bought a daily planner to keep my life in order, because I just KNOW it's going to get out of hand!! SO, if you don't see new posts from me regularly, I will definitely still be doing my Stamping 411 card each week, and I will try to get back to posting more often just as quickly as I can…

Anyway, you didn't come here to get stressed out listening to my drama did you??? Oh, you want to see a new card don't you??? Here you go:

And here's the sketch that inspired this card:

As you can see, I flipped the sketch. An idea popped into my head and I ran with it 🙂 Here's what I used on my card:

Stamps: Got Treats?

Ink: Real Red

Card Stock: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Real Red

Accessories: Cupcake Punch, Red Glitter paper, Word Window Punch, Polka Dot embossing folder, Paper Crimper, Dimensionals, Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by! Won't you play along with us this week?

  1. Love your card Kerin ~ as I see lots of bright colors on everyone’s blog, I realize that I just don’t ever go there….guess I’d better get out of my boat! TFS

  2. You’re like anti-drama! I think it could be the time of year, everyone that i know in some form or another is feeling a crunch. You are still one of the most put together ladies I know, so I’m glad you can cut yourself some slack. 😉 I just love your card this week! I love the addition of the taffeta, it adds just the right touch.. Praying that things will slow down for you soon. Hang in there gf! (((hugs)))

  3. This is the cutest card! I can totally relate to the busy baseball season. Once when my boys were younger I knew we had a game at 8:00 and one at 11:00 but I got mixed up on which boy at which time and showed up at 8:00 with Seth in uniform at Chad’s 8:00 game and left Chad at home with Dad. Seth was very mad at me!

  4. Love this one! So clean and summery! I am not looking foward to winter … one bit! Hope you get that daily planner working well for you! Life often gets in the way of stamping … doesn’t it! Hugs xxaxx

  5. Kerin this is so cute. I’m really enjoying this punch and have a class this week using it.
I plan to show them how versitile it is to use as clouds, flower pots, air balloon baskets and more! Hugs!

  6. I see you’re cloning Lee this week. Love all the white!!! It’s the perfect backdrop for the boldness of the dsp. It’s a fabulous card Kerin. You’re a superstar!!!
