Happy Friday everyone!! Sorry my blog's been a little quiet lately, that always happens on club week! The girls came over last night, so I'll have some new things to share over the next several days 🙂
So you've been reading my posts about it being frigid, snowing day after day, well guess what? You don't have to read that today, it hit 60 degrees here in Massachusetts!!! It's unbelievable what a few degrees will do for a girl!!
Anyway, another highlight of my week, it's time for another sketch challenge at Stamping 411! It's another good one, as they all are thanks to Selene & Gretchen!! Here's the sketch:
I have to tell you, I really like this card much better in real life. I don't know if it seems a little duller in the picture, but you get the idea anyway. I stamped the flowers from the Nature Walk set on Botanical Gazette dsp (the one that has the honeycomb design on it)…my favorite part about this paper is that the edges are already sponged looking! I did sponge a little around the edges, but all of the shading at the bottom and up the side are from the dsp.
Here's what I used:
Stamp Sets: Nature Walk, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Early Espresso, Black StazOn, For the butterfly: So Saffron, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler
Card stock: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Shimmery White for the butterfly
Accessories: Word Window Punch, Early Espresso Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals, Rhinestones & Crystal Effects with a Cherry Cobbler marker for the little bling, see my post HERE for how I did that.
I hope you'll join in the fun over at Stamping 411 this week, we love to see what you create!!
