Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #172

Sorry I've been MIA from my blog this week…this working full time thing is really catching up with me, plus I got to have my sister from Maine visit for a few days last weekend too! We only get to see each other every other month or so, so it was great to have her stay with us!!

But, no matter how tight for time I get, I've ALWAYS got time for the Stamping 411 sketch!! Here's the sketch:

SSC172

And here's my card:

SSC172Kerin I used the Two Tags die for the Big Shot for my focal image, I saw this trick a couple of months ago on Stampin' Connection (a website for SU! demonstrators) and I've used it several times since. The stamp is from Christmas Classics, and is stamped in Old Olive. I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter with my Two-Way Glue Pen, and of course the "star" is a Rhinestone Basics embellishment.

For the little tag I used the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes, but I inked up each word separately and stamped them on top of each other to fit in the word window punch. The card stock colors are Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler. I also embossed the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder on the Very Vanilla layer over the tag base. I used a Pewter Jumbo Eyelet, some Linen Thread for my tag, and Old Olive Satin Ribbon to finish it off.

I plan on finding some more time to stamp this weekend, and I hope you will to and you'll play along with us! Be sure and check out the other Operators' creations too!!

Thanks for stopping by!
