Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #171

Ooh it's time to check out this week's Stamping 411 sketch challenge! This is another versatile one (aren't they all????) that you can use over & over again! Here's the sketch:

And here's my card:

I'm very happy with the way this card turned out, and I wanted to show you a close-up of the leaves, they're so sparkly!! Can you see that?!?! If you can't just click on the picture and it should get bigger. I put some Champagne Mist shimmer paint on my blender pen and colored over the leaves.

The stamp is from the Day of Gratitude set…I couldn't wait to get my hot little hands on that set, and boy I'm so happy I finally got it!! The leaves are stamped in Black StazOn on Shimmery White card stock, then each is colored with a different color combo… starting from the left, they're Peach Parfait/Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzazz/Always Artichoke, and the one to the far right is all More Mustard, just added a bit at a time with a blender pen with more added towards the stem.

I also used Cherry Cobbler seam binding with gold metallic brads. The Thank You stamp is in the same set too, stamped in Black StazOn & punched with the word window punch…I did shorten it up a bit by cutting off the end of it after I punched it out.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you'll join in the fun this week, create something with this sketch and leave a link on the site for us all to see!!
