Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #158

It's time for our weekly sketch challenge over at the Stamping 411 blog! I hope you'll join in this week, or at least check out the fabulous creations by the operators and participants!! Here's the sketch:

And here's my card:

I used one of my favorite sets on this one, called Always…I just think that heart is the best! I stamped the heart once in Early Espresso on Whisper White card stock, then I stamped it again in Crumb Cake on a scrap of Whisper White, cut it out and adhered it on top of the Early Espresso heart.

I used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder on my background Early Espresso and Crumb Cake card stock, then I spritzed a bit of Log Cabin Smooch Spritz. I also spritzed the background Pink Pirouette layer behind the heart image. For the life of me I couldn't find my Cutter Kit, so I broke out my Tearing Edge and used that to rough up the edges of my card stock. I used some Crumb Cake Taffeta Ribbon, along with a Bitty Button to finish off the bow.

Thanks so much for stopping by, enjoy your 4th of July weekend!

  1. Thank you very much for YOUR nice comment on my take on the sketch before this one. I’m on Vac now–home in a few more days. Anyway–wish I could play with this one–but no supplies to spare!!!
I’ll keep it for a later project as it’s GREAT!
Take care & hope to get to meet you one of these days–I’m NW of Boston by about 25 miles. Nola
