Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge #156

It's Friday (woot-woot!), and that means it's time to play along with another fabulous sketch over at the Stamping 411 blog! I hope you'll make time to join in the fun this week, or at least check out all of the awesome entries!

Here's the sketch:

And here's my card:

I really enjoyed this sketch, although I was a bit skeptical at first that I'd be able to pull off a tilted center panel…I'm normally such a straight lines type of girl…but I'm really pleased with how this card turned out. Yup, another hydrangea, I can't stop with this stamp!!! I used all greens as you can see, Certainly Celery and Old Olive this time. A little heavier on the Celery for the flower, and heavier on the Olive for the leaves.

I used that gorgeous new texture folder that will be available for purchase in the new catalog July 1st…love it! It has such a deeply embossed image that's just beautiful. I added some half-back pearls at the top & bottom. The whole card is done in Shimmery White & Old Olive card stock. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, SO glad this set is still with us for the new catalog!

Thanks for stopping by!
