Sketch Challenge

I bet you’re wondering why I said I would have lots of stamping time this week, and you haven’t seen a thing! The weather here in the Northeast has been spectacular for this school vacation week, so I’m having a little trouble staying on task! I have been stamping though, I’ve been prepping for upcoming classes, and my monthly downline meeting which is this Thursday at my house. I don’t want to spoil all the fun things we’ll be making by posting them on my blog ahead of time, so you’ll have to wait until Friday to see what we made!

In the meantime, have you ever tried a Splitcoast Sketch Challenge? Well I haven’t, until today! I have seen some really cool sketches, but have never given them a try… apparently there is a new sketch challenge each Wednesday, so I gave last week’s a try. Here’s the sketch:

This is a really great tool for jump-starting your creative juices! All you do is create a card using this design, using different colors for each of the numbered/lettered components. Here’s my design (I know, I know… you’re getting kind of sick of seeing me use Tart & Tangy for everything, aren’t you!?!?!…I promise I’m going to get off this Tart & Tangy kick soon!). I’d love for you to give this sketch challenge a try and post a link here.
