Shimmer Paint

Well this week isn't starting out so great 🙁 While making this card, my husband and son came in to tell me that my son's bike was stolen out of our shed last night…lovely. And oddly enough, it was one of the ONLY days he put it in the shed, normally they just leave them lying around by the driveway!! Of course there were 3 other bikes in the shed, and they picked the very expensive one that will not be easily replaced…hopefully better things are to come this week huh?

Usually stamping makes me feel SO much better when anything is bothering me…and I'm going to need a LOT more stamping today to get out of this mood!

I made this card for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I used a sponge dauber and the Champagne Shimmer Paint, and applied a light layer of shimmer paint over every element of the card…it's pretty shimmery in real life 🙂

  1. Sorry about your son’s bike Kerin! Many years ago, when we lived in Tampa…both of the kids got their bikes stolen…it just makes you so sad and angry! Hope it turns up for him!
I love this card and this technique Kerin, and will have to try it out soon!
