Wow, I finally got back in my stamp room this morning and it felt great! April is here and you know what that means in my house…baseball time! Our son Nick (14) is playing on his high school team, as well as his AAU team, which means baseball every day and all weekend! This is a rare weekend that we don't have baseball until 12:30, so I snuck away for a bit this morning to do some coloring…aaaaahhhhh:)
When I walked in this room I was reminded of the fact that last Sunday I spent the entire day in my stamp room. I completed 9 projects for my design team requirements and failed to clean up after myself. Oh my I should have spent my time this morning cleaning but that's no fun! Maybe tomorrow 😉
Anyway, today I'm playing along with this week's Seize the Sketch:
I used a circle instead of a square on my center panel, but this guy just called for a circle in my mind. I think I'll use this card for one of my nephew's birthdays 🙂 Here are the supplies I used for my card:
Stamps: Clown Riley (Riley & Company)
Paper: Rought and Tumble DSP (Carta Bella), Real Red (SU!), XPressIt Blending Card, Random dotted yellow DSP I found on my stamp table
Copics: E31, E33, E35, E37, E57, R20, R22, R24, R27, Y35, Y38
Accessories: Stitched Circle Die (MFT Stamps), Star Punch (SU!), Circle Die (Spellbinders)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I am loving that moose and he is colored beautifully! What a great take on the sketch 🙂 Thanks for joining us at Seize the Sketch! PS–I usually end up working amongst the dregs of many projects gone by… who wants to spend that precious time cleaning?? I know how you feel! 🙂
This is so adorable! I love it when I can find time to create just for fun so I don’t want to spend it cleaning either!
Too cute! Perfect for a little boy’s birthday. Thanks for joining us at Seize the Sketch!
cute and fun!!! Thanks for joining us on Seize the Sketch!!
Hi, Kerin — I just had to comment on your cute card. I love the color combo and your creative swap-out of the square for the circle. And…I was kind of thrilled to see you have the same last name as me! There aren’t many of us Sylvesters running around, much less crafting!
Great card and Riley looks just adorable!!! Thanks for playing along with Seize the Sketch! Hope to see you again.
