Piece of Cake Box

Last week somewhere (I have no clue where now, although I know these boxes have been floating around the web for quite some time now), I saw a piece of cake box that I thought was just awesome! Anyway, I hopped over to the SU! demonstrator website…they have the coolest stuff for us on that site, patterns & templates for sooo many different things. Anyway, I found a template for the cake piece shaped box, printed it out onto card stock and assembled.

Then I made a paper rose like the ones in THIS POST for the top of the box using Blushing Bride card stock. I added a border…you can't tell in the picture I don't think, but I coated the underneath of the border with snail and sprinkled glitter all over it, so all of the holes in the border are sparkly. A piece of Whisper White Satin Ribbon, and I was done! I'm looking forward to making more of these in lots of different variations…wouldn't they make the cutest shower favors?

Thanks for stopping by!
