Paper Sweeties April Inspiration Challenge #18 – ‘Sweet Treats’

It's time for a new inspiration challenge at Paper Sweeties! Check out this sweet image:

This photo made me think of Springtime flowers, and actually I've got some of these coming up in my own yard…tulips! Hard to believe with the winter that wouldn't stop this year!

I used the Hippity Hoppity Easter Wishes set for the tulips, and the sentiment came from the Wagon Add-On Bloom & Grow set. The stems are made from an assortment of Paper Straws in Blueberry, Robin Egg and Raspberry, tied up with some ribbon. A little polkda dot embossing and this little number was done!

Let's see what the rest of the design team has come up with:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll join in the fun this month 🙂

  1. Straws as stems? Fabulous! I’ve spotted some Solomon’s Seal coming up in my garden so I think that spring must be on the way despite what we see and feel when we go outside!

  2. This is just SO cute!!! LOVE the idea of using the straws as long flower stems! And the colors are amazing! 🙂 HUGS and have a great rest of the week! Mynn xx
PS: I’m your newest follower! I’d love for you to hop over to my blog (On a Stampage) because I have TWO giveaways going on right now! 🙂
