Paper Players Sketch Challenge

It's week 3 of my guest designer position over at The Paper Players, and I'm really enjoying it! There's a different type of challenge each week of the month, and this week they have a sketch challenge…ooh, right up my alley 🙂 Be sure and check out what the design team comes up with, wow what an amazing group of stampers over there!!

Here's the sketch:

February Sketch Challenge 35
And here's my card:

I'm pretty please with the way this card turned out, and the girls that came over for club on Thursday night really seemed to like it, so I hope you like it too 🙂 I'm sure I should have gone for a longer style card, but I wanted to see if I could fit the sketch into a standard card size.

I used three different designs from the Springtime Vintage dsp pack, along with Very Vanilla card stock. I just love these flowers made with two different sizes of heart punches, I got the idea from Maria's card. For my flowers I used Pear Pizzazz, Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy on Very Vanilla card stock. The sentiment is from Three Little Words, stamped in Not Quite Navy.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll play along this week, I love to see all of the different takes on a sketch…looking forward to seeing what you create!!

I want to continue sending people from my blog to yours (1) because I LOVE your work and (2) as an ongoing thank you for your card contribution to our church card ministry. So I have included you in my list for the Stylish Blogger Award. I didn’t double-check to see whether you already had it (since you deserve all of these recognitions!). Check it out here. I hope you accept as I would really like to see which blogs you would send us to!
