Ornament Wreath

Untitled-1
I have wanted to make one of these ornament wreaths for years, but never knew how to make them…until recently when I spotted a simple tutorial on Pinterest. I had to make it! I gathered up ornaments from a few different stores, because I wanted some various greens with a bit of red here & there. I used 56 ornaments in all…not the cheapest project around, but I love the end result!

Yesterday I scored some gorgeous ribbon at the bargain price of $3.99 on Black Friday, regularly $9.99 a roll and I was so happy about that! It's actually a darker, richer red than it shows in this picture with velvet holly on it, but my camera is on the fritz and I had to take this with my cell phone, so not the best quality!

One dilemma though…the finished wreath is quite wide, so I can't shut my glass door over it! I'm planning on having Jeff remove the glass door (it's only a month without it right?), I just haven't sprung that on him yet 🙂

Hope you're enjoying the holiday season! Although it's 63 degrees out here today, we'll be in full Christmas decor mode tomorrow 🙂

  1. This is really beautiful, love the greens! Why not put a command hook on your glass door positioned so the wreath is where you want it over the main door, just attached to the glass door? then you wouldnt’ have to remove it at all 🙂
