Ok, I’m officially hooked! Well…anyone who knows me knows I love the bling already, so add something that I can completely cover in bling and I am one happy girl! I have been playing with the sticky cuts letters the last few days and I like them more and more every time!
This card was actually inspired by a cute coaster calendar I received in a recent 3d swap from my friend and fellow demonstrator Lyn. For starters it’s purple, my favorite color and the color of my stamping room *thanks Lyn for giving me the purple one :)* You can see the coaster calendar in the pictures of my stamp room (link to the left), I keep it right on the base of my lamp in front of where I stamp.
I was thinking that the flower from Baroque Motifs would look pretty cool in the middle of the big sticky cuts flower, so that’s what I started with. I stuck the sticky cuts flower on whisper white, covered it with dazzling diamonds glitter and cut it out. If you can’t tell from the picture, each layer is raised up with dimensionals. I punched out the small oval for the word "kind" from the space around the letters…this extra sticky stuff is great for little shapes like the 3 flower punch too! I stamped the word "kind" on whisper white, then stuck the oval on top of it and covered it in…you got it…more glitter. I used Certainly Celery card stock, Almost Amethyst designer paper and Elegant Eggplant card stock. I did a little paper piercing in the corners of the Elegant Eggplant layer under the sticky cuts letter.
