Okay, first I have to tell you how excited I am that I came up with this! You know that awesome Movers & Shapers die, the one that cuts out the card, scores it and it has the curly label shape punched out too? Well I had a brainstorm the other day, and I created these cute boxes using that die! (p. 195) It was so simple, I have no idea why it didn't strike me sooner. Plus, I thought you might like to see how I made them, so I put together some instructions too 🙂
I typed the directions right on the pictures to make it easier to follow along, just click on the picture for a much bigger view…
I just realized you will probably want to flip your paper over to make these score lines, starting at 1", then 4-1/2", then 9"…sorry about that;)
Decorate as desired!
For mine I used Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip cardstocks, Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon, and the stamp set is Great Friend (available April 1)
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you'll enjoy making these boxes as much as I have!
