More Fabulous Flowers

Here’s another little item I made using the Fabulous Flowers set. I referred to the Stampin’ Up! demonstrator website again, and used a template for a pillow box. I broke out my Watercolor Wonder Crayons for the first time in a long time! I used Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, and Ruby Red to color in the flower directly on the stamp. Then I spritzed the stamp (pretty far away to get a really fine mist), and stamped on Whisper White. I did this 3 separate times to have the pieces I needed to cut my layers out of. Once I cut the different sections of flowers out, I adhered them together with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and used a Rhinestone Brad in the center. The box was a piece of cake to cut out and assemble! I used Chocolate Chip card stock for that, and made a simple belly band using Ruby Red card stock and the Tres Chic background stamp. Oh yeah, I also sponged some Ruby Red on the tips of the petals. Last, but definitely not least, I added glitter to the ends of the flower petals. I hope you like it!

  1. This is just stunning Kerin! What a fabulous flower indeed! Love the colors you chose and the layers on the flower. Great details with the glitter and the brad. Love that box too. 🙂
