I guess I'm in the mood to make birthday cards lately (or maybe just in the mood for cupcakes??? lol)…here's another one, this time using the Mojo Monday sketch #279.
My cards are taking shape a little differently lately. I've been selecting a few patterned papers I like first, then picking the theme or stamps after. I used to decide what image I wanted, then I would make it work by finding papers I liked with it. Hmmm, I wonder if this new method is why I ordered a bunch of new DSP today??? I need a new storage method though. I'm thinking of cutting my 12×12" sheets to 6×6" squares to easily flip through what I've got, and maybe sort by main color?? I need help! How do you store your DSP for easy access??
This little cupcake (and sentiment) is from the Papertrey Ink set called Tiny Treats: Birthday. I've had it for a while, but this is the first time I broke it out. There are lots of cute images in this set!
Here are the other supplies I used to create this card:
Card Stock: Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Basic Black and random dsp (SU!), Pure Luxury (Gina K – for coloring with Copics)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers RV02, RV13, RV21, B63, B66, R46, R59.
Accessories: Polka Dot Embossing Folder, 1-1/4" & 1-3/8" Circle Punches, Clear Button, Silver Cord, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Stampin' Dimensionals (all SU!)
Thanks for stopping by!
