This little project has been so much fun to make! The original was shared by Becky Roberts on SUDSOL (a paid membership website for Stampin' Up! demonstrators only). I have seen lots of versions of this holder around lately, but I wanted mine to hold 4×4 note cards with matching envelopes. So I used Becky's version, and altered the measurements to fit my needs, plus I also changed the cutting a little bit. That's the best thing about stamping and papercrafting, everyone can make projects their own way, and there are so many people out there sharing ideas that the possibilities are endless!
So here I'll share with you my version of the mini magazine holder, plus the little note cards I put inside. The 4×4 note cards with envelopes CAN be mailed, and I know that because I was lucky enough to receive one from my upline Dawn this week, thanks again Dawn 🙂 The envelopes are actually made out of our regular sized envelopes…you seal it shut, then cut the end off, and replace that with a dsp flap, very simple and VERY cute!
All of the notes use the new Candy Lane dsp, and my card stock colors were Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla and Close to Cocoa. The stamps were from the Love You Much set (still available at a 20% discount when purchased in the bundle until 1/31) The front label holder is Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware, and of course most of the cards have Dazzling Diamonds glitter…speaking of which, WAIT until you see my new blog banner coming soon! I'm having a blog makeover done, with new colors, a new banner, new watermark, and my new signature you can see at the end of this post. I'm SO excited for this change that's long overdue!
